The Story of By Queen Des: How It All Came Together

I didn’t start off calling myself a business manager, a virtual assistant, or even a brand. I started by helping people and doing what needed to be done. Figuring things out and getting things moving are my super power and I’ve always had a gift for making it happen.

My first official title? Store Manager. A small business trusted me to build their systems from the ground up. This meant creating/negotiating contracts, scheduling, SOPs, handbooks, the whole thing. I wasn’t just running the store; I was creating the blueprint. I had no clue what I was doing at the time, but I was excelling.

That’s when I realized I wasn’t just “helping.”I was building structure, creating order, and leading operations. That gift followed me into events, live TV tapings, webinars, launches, store openings, and client brands across industries.

I have been fortunate enough to work with hairstylists, cinematographers, lawyers, insurance agents, DEI experts, nurse practitioners, and that's just to name a few. I’ve been the one behind the curtain, turning chaos into clarity.

But that’s not all of me.

I’m also a makeup artist, content creator, brand ambassador, and creative at heart. My artistry and business skills aren’t in conflict, but they complement each other. One gives me vision. The other gives me execution. That’s how By Queen Des™ was born: A brand built around all of me.The organizer and the artist. The strategist and the soul.

What I Do Now

Today, I help women (and a few brave men) bring order to their business dreams. Whether that’s through virtual assistance, business management, content support, or private makeup lessons.

I’ve built By Queen Des™ to be more than a service, but a partnership. One where you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Because I’ve been the one doing all the things, I know what it feels like to carry the whole brand on your back. I also know what it feels like to finally breathe when someone comes in and says, “I got you.”
