Makeup Service Policy — By Queen Des™ Before we begin, please take a moment to review the following service policies. These are in place to ensure a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience for both you and the artist. Professional Disclaimer I am a certified makeup artist who has been trained under licensed estheticians and beauty professionals to perform makeup services in alignment with state board hygiene and sanitation standards. However, I am not a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician, and my services are strictly cosmetic in nature. Client Health & Safety By booking a makeup service, you acknowledge and understand the following: You are voluntarily receiving a cosmetic makeup application. You agree to inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to your appointment. All tools and products used are sanitized before and after each service. I adhere to industry standards for cleanliness and safety. I am not liable for any skin complications such as breakouts, allergic reactions, or irritations that may occur during or after your service. If you have concerns about sensitivity or potential reactions, you may request a product list in advance or conduct a patch test 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Payments & Refunds All payments are non-refundable. A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of service unless otherwise stated. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled time, the remaining balance in full will be charged as a cancellation fee unless otherwise agreed upon. Rescheduling & Cancellations You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty. You may cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty. Any changes made after these windows are subject to additional fees at the discretion of the makeup artist. In most cases, the remaining balance in full will be charged as a late cancellation or rescheduling fee unless otherwise communicated. Travel Policy Makeup services include travel within 30 minutes of Durham, NC. Travel outside this radius may incur an additional fee.
